Who, me?

Do I want to take an all-expense paid trip to Boston for a week in November? Um... Yes?! I ♥ being an Honors student. :D :D :D

(Also, is this a question to which people actually say no?)

Okay, so the deal is that Cameron is revamping it's Honors program, and with that aim in mind, they selected an upperclassmen and a underclassmen (Me!) to go to the National Collegiate Honors Council Conference in Boston. I am incredibly honored that they thought of me, and of course, I'm going.

Boston for Thanksgiving, Italy for spring break... I am one super-lucky lady.

Here's a photo of the new lounge in the Honors building. Pretty swank digs, lol. The other side of this room is empty-ish. The Honors Director says we're putting in a pool or a Jacuzzi. I'm only half-sure that he's kidding. Regardless, you have to be impressed with any facility that boasts two coffee pots.

Veterans' Day

According to the National Center for Health Statistics, more than 50 percent of nursing home residents have no close relatives, and 46 percent have no living children. These two facts are a major reason why an estimated 60 percent of nursing home residents never have visitors.
