Happy Birthday!

Eleven years ago today, my amazing daughter Angel was born. She is brilliant, clever (and punny!), staggeringly vivacious, amazingly opinionated, and just flat out awesome. I love you more than words can possible say. You are the best daughter that a mother could ever hope you. Happy birthday. I hope that you have a year as wonderful as you are. :)

Last year, on Angel's birthday, she spent half the day volunteering at a local nursing home. This year, on Angel's birthday, she insisted on making everyone dinner. (Breakfast for dinner, of course.)

On My Daughter's 10th Birthday.

Ten years ago today, my amazingly brilliant, amazingly hilarious, amazingly vivacious, amazingly argumentative and just flat out amazing daughter was born. My amazing daughter could have done anything today. I would have taken her anywhere. You know what she chose to do? Volunteer to go play Bingo with the old folks at a local nursing home. My kid is amazing.
